Do you know Liptovske droby?
Liptovske droby are a traditional Slovak delicacy, made by an old craft method. It is a deliciously flavored mixture of potatoes, pork greaves and lards, stuffed into natural casings. The original traditional recipe was inherited from generation to generation. They fully replace a meat dish and satiate.
Liptovské drobyIn 2021, this product received the trademark of the Register of Protected Geographical Indications from the European Commision. They are therefore unique in the world gastronomy.
Potatoe
It contains significant amounts of vitamins C, B1, B2 and PP, minerals (Mg, Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn, P, I, Ni, Ca, K and others), citric acid and polyphenols.

Potatoes are healthy!
Potatoes contain mainly vitamin C, A, B1, B2 and niacin. The content of vitamin C is in the range of 9-25 mg/ 100g, potatoes have a high ability to store it. They are a unique source of minerals and trace elements – magnesium, iron, zinc, phosphorus, iodine, calcium, copper, flourine, sodium, chromium and potassium.
Phenolic acid acts against harmful bacteria and viruses. They have many health benefits, improve digestion, lower cholesterol, strenghten heart function, protect against diabetes. They support imunity, lower blood pressure and maintain fluid balance in the body.
They act on insomnia and strenghten eyesight. Potatoes always saturate well and add enough energy. They contain significantly less dry mass than cereals and are therefore often recommended as a diet.
